In a case in which an individual sued one of PMR’s national homebuilder clients for injuries allegedly caused by a defective staircase in a model home, Kurt Peterson tried the case to a defense verdict in favor of the homebuilder in Alameda County Superior Court. The jury found that the model home and staircase were not defectively designed or build, and that the plastic material used to protect the stairway carpeting was properly applied and used by the developer.
