Jeff Martin, a founding partner of Peterson, Martin & Reynolds LLP, specializes in real property litigation with an emphasis in representing real estate professionals, real estate owners and lenders.

In addition to his years of experience as a litigator in courts throughout Northern California, Mr. Martin also has substantial appellate experience. In addition, he has served as an advocate and an arbitrator/mediator in various Alternative Dispute Resolution forums.

As the former chairperson of the Brokerage and Sales Subsection of the Real Property Section of the California State Bar, Mr. Martin led the state bar’s oversight of legal and practice issues affecting real estate professionals. He also has served on the Executive Board of the Bar Association of San Francisco, and is a member of the Editorial Board of the California Real Estate Reporter published by Matthew Bender. Mr. Martin has authored articles and newsletters on issues pertaining to real estate litigation and real estate brokerage.

Mr. Martin is an active member of the California State Bar, the American Bar Association, and the Association of Business Trial Lawyers.

Mr. Martin is a graduate of the University of California at Los Angeles. He received his Juris Doctor degree from Hastings College of the Law in 1985.
